## What is Care-Lo?

Care-Lo is a two-sided digital marketplace for home care services. On one side, care receivers (patients, families) can discover, compare, and book health care professionals who visit them at home. On the other side, care givers (health care professionals, or HCPs) can create detailed service profiles, define the geographic area they serve, and receive and manage service requests.

Care-Lo does not employ the care providers listed on the platform. It acts as a connecting layer between customers and independent health care professionals.

## How it works for care receivers

1. Visit the Find Care page and search by location and/or specialization.
2. Browse public HCP profiles — view their specializations, services, experience, ratings, and service area.
3. Create a Care-Lo account (phone number + OTP) to start a chat or place a service request.
4. Send a service request specifying your preferred visit time and a proposed amount.
5. The HCP accepts, rejects, or negotiates the request.
6. After the visit is completed, leave a rating and written review.
